Copper Weathervanes

Nippy today outside and hello to all weathervane and cupola fans, nothing better then a Cupola and Weathervane this Holiday Season.

Wow we are almost at the end 2020 and I am sure we will all welcome 2021. Most of our weathervane and cupola customers have been very good through the 2020 season since the pandemic but with Christmas Season coming on, I hope this does not revert to hurry and rush that we have seen in Christmas Seasons past.

When ordering a weathervane and cupola from us please remember that we must make the weathervane and cupola for you. Our weathervanes and cupolas are not sitting on long racks of shelves waiting to be purchased. Because we make handmade weathervanes, it would be great for you to understand that our weathervanes are made just for you as are the cupolas. With this thought please have patience with us this Holiday Season. We always do our best to get your new weathervane made and out to you with UPS. Our larger cupolas can take weeks and will ship view freight so if you are tryingto get one of these under the tree more planning is in order for next season.

Some of the common Questions we get are about discounts – these we do not do since we must make each weathervane to order. If you must have discounts, please remember that we are having a price increase come the new year so really these present prices are going to classified as the discount when January comes.

One of our common questions is custom weathervanes – well I really do not like doing custom request. In years past I have done a few custom designs for customers and have not always had the best result. My favorite learning experience was our buffalo weathervane. We had a sweet older lady customer that agreed to buy two buffalo weathervanes when they were completed. Since this was a very nice older lady that was very pleasant to chat with – off I went making us a new buffalo weathervane, after long months I finally finished up our new buffalo and I am very pleased with the final buffalo weathervane design. All said, when I called the older lady back and showed her our great new buffalo weathervane this sweet older lady turned not so sweet and stated she had changed her mind and wanted something different now and really did not want a buffalo – so I was buffaloed into doing a buffalo weathervane. LOL…

Because of this run in with custom request from customers over the past few years I tend to just do whatever weathervane designs my little heart desires. Yes, I could do more designs if I had more time but what I tend to make is really what I wish to make. Sounds crazy? Well this method tends to work well in my favor and if you happen to like what we make – then all the better.

Really we do love our customers and I like to think that our customers love us back, I do plan on doing a few more fun designs this winter and I have high hopes that our great customers will find them to their liking. I invest a lot of time and effort into the designs that we are doing now and of course a lot of cost so when calling in please be nice.
