Weathervane Fans

This is an old song from my army days.

“Rise, rise, rise, the sun is in our eyes,” one of the sergeants I used to work with just loved to sing and had a great morning song that started this way, this was back in the 90s when I was in the Army. These were simpler times, and they were good times, we would be out at Fort Erwin or some other lonely place and 4AM would come early and this young sergeant loved to hear his own voice. I would think that entire Big Red One could hear him singing every morning when he decided to wake us all.

What does this song have to do with weathervanes you might ask, well we are planning to work on a few new weathervane designs this winter since we are slowing down now a bit and I am thinking a great sun weathervane is in order. We do make two nice sun weathervanes now, but I am thinking a nice face in the sun might be fun. So, a sun, maybe a moon weathervane, still thinking on this.

If you do read my blogs and are thinking of great new ideas for a weathervane and you would like to see this weathervane idea come true, feel free to shoot me an email and I will think on it a bit. What I would love is to find out is what customers would like to see us make. At present I have no real direction, I kind of feel like a leaf in the wind and just make whatever.

In next few weeks we are hoping to finally have our new German Shepherd Weathervane Finished so everyone that has been waiting on this great puppy will finally get to see the finished designs, We did the German Shepherd Weathervane in two sizes so hopefully this will cover a wide base for our puppy fans.
